EDWIN TORRES
Edwin Torres is a native of New York City and the author of many poetry collections. He has toured worldwide, performing and teaching workshops in a range of settings from academia to the open air. Coming into poetry from outside an MFA-setting, the diversity of New York City’s East Village in the early ‘90’s sparked his poetry education. Collaborations across a range of disciplines; writing, painting, sculpture, theater, sound art, music, improvisation, have contributed to the development of his diasporic bodylingo poetics.
